Son of a Bee...

It was such a beautiful day today.  My ride home from work was great!  No traffic and the temperature was perfect.  I couldn't have asked for better weather.  As I was nearing the end of my ride, and mentally preparing myself for another physical therapy session, I felt a smack against my chest.  It hurt like crazy!  I figured the car in front of my kicked up a rock or something.  What ever it was, it really stung.

Rubbing my chest, I walked into my physical therapist's office.  I was directed to one of the rooms to get ready for my ultrasound.  As I took of my jacket, I heard a buzzing sound coming from under my shirt.  It sounded like static coming from head phones, but I knew I wasn't wearing head phones...  I took off my shirt as fast as I could, which isn't that fast since I have two gimpy shoulders.  I looked in the mirror and saw a bee stuck between my undershirt and the skin on my neck.  I started swinging all over the place trying to get it off (I am sure it was an entertaining for the other patients in office).  I ended up getting stung five times... four more times than I have the previous 27 years of my life.  Good times.

Ugh, I got stung 3-4 times from one in my shoe a few weeks ago. It hurt so bad. Robie told me to put mud on it, so I made him stop on the side of a busy road so I could sit on the ground rubbing dirt on my foot. Baking soda works well too.
