Summer in Utah

Alright, I am finally getting caught up on our blog.

These next few posts will probably be lame and mostly just pictures, but here it goes...

Koby pretending his guy is skiing.

Kai and I laid at the splash pad watching James and the boys play football.

For the fourth of July we went to our dear friends' house, Kristine and Logan Turner who lived right across the street. We lit off fireworks and ate some smoked turkey.

The boys love having a baby brother.

We have three boys and a pink Bumbo.

This only lasted five minutes.
Saying good bye to Aunt Emily! We were so sad to leave Em in Utah.

We sure loved our friends and neighbors in Utah, but were excited to head to Los Angeles for our new adventures.

Kai's Blessing

We blessed Kai on July 13th. James gave Kai a beautiful blessing. Kai's aunts and uncles came to our church for the blessing -Emily, Sean and Karen, and Sherry and Cameron. Then we went home and had a yummy brunch. I am glad we were able to share Kai's special day with our family and our friends in our Eagle Mountain ward before we moved.

We are so grateful to be members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day and to have an eternal family.

Kai Randall Huntington

On June 6th of this year we were blessed with another beautiful, healthy baby boy. Meet Kai Randall Huntington. Kai is a Japanese name. Randall is my dad's name.

Kai was born on Friday, June 6, 2014. I checked into the hospital at 9 am. While James and I were waiting them to start the induction process we got to listen to the woman next to us scream bloody murder. Seriously, she sounded as if she was being tortured to death. It freaked me out a little. I kept thinking, "I forget, Is labour that bad?" We were all relieved when we heard a baby crying.

Anyways, they started my pitocin at 10:15 am (when I was dilated to a 1.5). I got my ephidheral at 1:20 pm. At 1:45 I was dilated to a 5. With only a couple pushes, Kai was born at 3:32 in the afternoon. He was 7 lb. 15 oz. and 19.5 inches long. He had huge feet and no bum. Haha.

My sister Emily got to be in the delivery room with us and witness Kai's birth (from up by my head). She was able to record the whole thing and take pictures for us. I am so grateful for her and also to my mom for flying down for two weeks. It was such a relief knowing she was with Koby and Lincoln while James and I were in the hospital.

From the moment Kai was born he had the sweetest little spirit about him. He even slept for six hours straight that first night! He was and still is a happy, calm, sweet, baby. I love him more than words could express. Poor baby came to us at the busiest time in our lives-when we were selling our house, moving out-of-state, and when James was quitting his job and starting school. That being said, God sure blessed me with the best baby who could handle our crazy life.

I will post lots and lots of pictures when our computer gets fixed, but for now I'll just have to post these couple pictures from my phone. Sorry for the poor, poor quality.

My sweet, puffy eyed baby.

Kai came out with lots of dark hair.

We were able to leave the hospital when Kai was 24 hours old.  Yay for a healthy baby!

There will be lots more, better quality pictures posted soon, but for now these will do. Our family is so blessed. We love baby Kai.

Blogging

I am ashamed to see we have not updated our family blog in months! I am currently working on a few blogs to post. Our desktop died when we moved to California in August so until we get our pictures moved over to the laptop I am stuck.

Anyways, selling a house, having a third child, moving a couple states over, killing a car, buying a new car, family vacations, Koby starting school, Linc starting "school", James starting school, friends visiting us, family visiting us, the beach, Disneyland and city living has taken over our lives.

Life is busy. Life is good. We'll be back real soon.

Linc is 3!

Lincoln turned 3 on Memorial Day! The day started with presents of course. Yay for new trains and a "Strider" balance bike!

We wanted to do something really fun for Linc's birthday so we met up with our good friends, Dave and Heidi Munion, who were in town for the week, and went to Thanksgiving Point's new Children's Curiosity Museum. Since it was Memorial Day the place was packed. It was nuts, but it was still so much fun. The boys had a blast!

Linc loved the airplane!

It was a hot hot day, so after the museum we got slurpees and headed home to play in the pool! Lincoln's best friends are his aunts and uncles so of course they came over later for cupcakes and ice cream. They also spoiled Linc with some balloons and presents too. He sure had a good day!

Lincoln is my sweet, independent, little man. He loves to give squeezes and kisses. He sure loves his family too. Lately Linc has turned a little mischievous. In April when my parents were visiting, he popped the screen out of an open window upstairs and climbed onto the roof! We found him hanging onto the windowsill with one hand just talking to the birds...the little stink!!

We sure love our Lincoln!
