So here I sit, still pregnant.
I can't tell you how many times the nurse/hospital used the words..."It's called an ELECTED induction." Elected or not, James and I felt like kids that woke up on Christmas to find it cancelled without any promise that is would be rescheduled.
But hey! Today the hospital called and said tomorrow morning, 7 a.m., we get to head in for real.
Koby and I hit up the Bean Museum yesterday and the park today. We had a lot of fun just the two of us and I am grateful for that opportunity. I know it won't happen again for a little while.

Oh Megan! I'm so sorry!! That must have been awful to be all ready and excited and have it cancelled...27! That's INSANE! On a lighter note, thanks so much for posting this....#1 I set up my "elected induction" date today and I'm sooo glad I'm not the only one doing that. Sometimes I feel like everyone I know thinks being induced is of the devil. #2 Now I know not to get my hopes up, or at least try to! I hope your labor goes smoothly and can't wait to see pictures of your new addition!
Noooo!!! How awful! Good luck waiting just 1 more day!
Ah man...sorry. It's the worst to have it prolonged even longer! Hang in there!
That stinks! Can't wait to see him! Oh and Wish I had legs that looked that good at 10 months pregnant!
ah man, i was thinkin about ya all day yesterday thinking that you were having a baby. well, good luck tomorrow. i will be thinking about ya again ;) can't wait to see the little guy.
Megan....I'm writing this on Thursday, hoping you have had your little boy!! So an early congrats...sorry about the crappy Tuesday! well, the Christmas feeling anyway! 27 women! That is so crazy. SO SO SO crazy.
That happened to us too! We were scheduled for an induction in the morning but they called and told me that all the rooms were full (it was Friday the 13th too...) but they were able to get us in that evening and we had him the next morning. it all worked out ok for us...i hope that all goes well for you!
