Home Sweet Home

Last week we moved into our new house! Let me just say, life is great. James just hooked the computer up so I decided to post a little update. It's amazing, we didn't have internet for about 2 weeks and I didn't really miss it much:)

We have been painting non stop and have managed to complete the kitchen, living room, dining room, and Koby's room. We still have halls, stairs, Linc's room, our room, and 3 bathrooms to go...UG! The only time we can peacefully paint is after the kids are in bed. This means James and I have been painting well into the early hours of the morning and living off about 3-4 hours of sleep at night. Not healthy, I know! And did I mention our yard needs some serious LOVE?! That is a project we will start next week.

We love where we live. The neighborhood is nice and cheery and there are little kids everywhere. The other day Koby and I were weeding and 2 kids came over and helped. Koby is in heaven with all his new "friends."  Anyone who passes by gets a, "You wanna come to Koby's house?"

These two have really bonded lately

Playing Mr. Potato Head with Koby
AFTER-Bold i know, but I love my green kitchen!
I don't have before pics of Koby's room, but it was all white. Here it is now...
If anyone knows Koby, they know he would NEVER fall asleep eating. This is what moving does to us. We are so over it...

Lincoln is growing even bigger and is a lot more interactive now. He loves to smile when you make eye contact with him. He also loves toys and tries to grab them all the time...

We've been so blessed :)

Boys will be boys

I tell ya, there is never a dull (or relaxing) moment when you live with 3 boys!

Our closing date, which was supposed to be last Thursday, has now moved to the end of this week. We are doing anything and everything to pass the time until we move...

Shooting bugs outside with Kob's sweet gun someone abandoned at the park
Watching Lincoln grow so fast

Taking a rope swing ride
Strippin' down at the public park to enjoy the FREEZING cold, melted snow
Learning what grass is
Enjoying Linc's first teeter-totter ride...

...with the whole family:)
Enjoying Koby's recently found imagination
Squeezing the cutest cheeks ever
Watching Linc make funny faces all day
Hanging out with "Grandma Takako"
Eating James' Perfected Okonomiyaki with Aunt Lisa and "Grandpa Takako"
Sporting some traditional Japanese attire from James' cousin Chika
Wearing it all day long... and all around town
Swimming with Shane and Em
Learning to do some artificial Surfing and getting a free Enema
Shane making it look easy
Putting on all the tattoos Koby could find and doing what all men do in their spare time - pullups, anywhere and everywhere possible, all day long.
Internet is being shut off on Monday. Let's pray we move shortly after:) Until we meet again...
