It's all BRAIN

So everyone is ALWAYS saying we've got a big baby... well today was his 4 month check up and here are the results...

Height ... 25th percentile (no shocker there)
Weight ... 25th percentile
Head ... 65th percentile ... I bet this is why people are mislead.

He sure is a cutie though.

Best Friends

When Koby would fall asleep he would grab on to any part of my body or clothes to make sure I wouldn't put him down. Well I out-smarted him by giving him a stuffed animal to grab on to. NOW...The only way he sleeps is with his hands clutching and his face buried in his stuffed animals. I would have never guessed to stock up on these furry friends.

I love James

James is a hard worker. Yesterday he woke up at 6:30, went to work at Nu Skin, went right to 2 interviews, gave plasma, and went straight to his second job at Buckle until 9:30 at night. I'm so lucky.

And the results of the interviews......

James got a really good job as a Personal Trainer! Woohoo!

Basically all about Koby...

I got to spend my birthday with 3 of the most important people... James, Koby, and Rach. We went to Tucanos for lunch.... yum! Since it was the day before mother's day they gave me free cheesecake...YUM! Since it was a celebration, Koby got to try some new tastes- a little whipped cream and lemon. The sour lemon didn't seem to phase him. He just kept licking and licking.


















At 3 1/2 months Koby is a little talker! He just talks to himself all day. He can now roll over from his stomach to his back - probably because he hates his stomach. The other day I laid him on a mirror to make it more interesting for him. He LOVES his refelection. It's his new best friend. He will be crying and I'll put him infront of the mirror and he immediately smiles. Haha. It's kinda like he is flirting with himself. He is constantly trying to suck his face in the mirror too.

Koby has also learned to pull his binky out and put it back in. When he doesn't have a binky to suck on his hands are in his mouth. He tries shoving all 10 fingers in there - poor kid frequently chokes on his own hand.

The weather here is getting hot! Target makes these great food holders for kids to suck on... Koby's eats ice in his and LOVES it. He screams when we take it away.

Koby took his first swim with his girlfriend Anna last week. It may not look like it, but he did enjoy it! I'm afraid he got my stubby legs...His swim trunks go down to his feet.

Little Stinker

I wake up this morning and hear Koby. He is just awake and talking to himself. I go in to get him...

He is smiling so big at me with poo on his hand and cheek.

Oh to be a baby!

A little of this and a little of that

So one of James' goals in life involves me. He wants us to run a marathon together. I don't think it's fair to have a goal that is dependent on someone else....BUT since I love him and I am sick of the extra baby fat, I signed up too. (Not to mention he will not stop bugging me about this goal). It was a last minute crazy thing and I am now regretting it. I am NOT a long-distance runner, like James and Rachel! Maybe my name won't get selected? Rach, James, his dad, Crystal, and Dave signed up in a group. Hopefully they make it in! We find out on Monday...

I taught an enrichment activity yesterday on the body... I stressed over it for a month! Now that the women feel they did their part in activating me, I hope I can skate under the radar a little longer. It was so nerve racking. After I spoke, 2 very experienced women went next.. I'm so glad I went first!

James got a job at Nu Skin. It's not his dream job or anything, but he gets good experience speaking Japanese everyday and it will be good for while he is getting his Master's. I am so grateful he is such a hard worker.

Rach is living with us! She might be moving out of state in a couple months so we are her pit stop while she is in between contracts. It is so much fun! She helps with Koby a lot and keeps me company. I love it.
