We were up all night monitoring/waiting for a tsunami to hit here. Luckily, nothing severe at all. Another year with another tsunami warning and not much action. It is so sad. Especially for those who still have loved ones missing in the affected areas. Glad your nihonjin family is safe! Sidebar: Is your mom Okinawan, or does her family just live there now? Just wondering.
